Facts On Mary Kay Cosmetics

Mary Kay Ash was brought up with the encouragement and belief that she could do anything that she wanted to do. Her mother always told her, “You can do it”. Mary Kay wanted to prove to herself and to all women that they can do anything they chose to do. Mary Kay wanted all women to believe that they could have unlimited success if they really wanted it. Mary Kay Ash is the founder of Mary Kay Cosmetics. Mary Kay Cosmetics also known as Mary Kay Inc. was founded on September 1963. The headquarters for Mary Kay Cosmetics is located in Addison, Texas.  A man had come up with a recipe that he and his daughter used on their face to make their skin feel and look cleaner and smoother. Mary Kay bought the recipe from the family and used it to make her skin care products. Mary Kay’s original skin care products came from this recipe.

Great info from which I learned a lot.

Excellent Mary Kay information. My daughter is a beauty consultant for them.

Wow, sales $2.5 billion in 2010 - what a success story. Good info.

Interesting article on this success.

Mary Kay used the bumblebee as her symbol. The bumblebee is not built to fly according the areodynamics, yet we all know that it does fly. She used the bumblebee to show women that it was possible for them to do the impossible. Unfortunately, her products have gone in the direction that she had always claimed would never happen. She did not want her product line to be like Avon and others. I know longer sell or use the products. They are just a too bit expensive for me. However, they were better than any I found on the market. Her gurantee always allowed products to be returned for exchange or money back. For instance, hormones change during pregnancy. Sometimes a woman has bought skin care items, and then become pregnant making those items useless to her. Remedy, with a honest consultant, was to exchange the purchased items, even if already used, for those that will work with the new hormonal changes found with pregnancy.

Excellent job here! I am very familiar with MK products and even- the sells technique. Very good products indeed! Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the information on Mary Kay products.

My Mom sold Mary Kay them been around since the caveman! Great Work!

I used to sell MK and love it a lot! It's a great company with great products and quite reasonable prices for the top quality they put out. I only wish I'd of taken better care of my skin when I was younger, but at least there are wonderful tricks to be learned to help those of us who are older. Mary Kay covers every age...men and women. You'd think I still sold MK from the way I'm going on, right? Hey, thanks for the great article.

Great article, although I have tried Mary Kay and am not a fan. I prefer Arbonne. Voting up for it's inspiration! : )

Seems to be some good beauty products, thanks.

Another outstanding piece of work.

I've never tried Mary Kay but very informative article.
