Do you have dark bags under your eyes, acne-prone skin, oily skin, or Rosacea?  This Factoid will offer advice on perfecting your skin while you conceal it with healthy, all-natural mineral cosmetics! Some of these tips help heal acne, dry skin, or other skin imperfections.

Let's start by discussing cover-up, foundation, skin powders and methods of concealing dark spots, acne, acne scars, broken blood vessels, etc.  The one thing I stress when discussing make-up is that frugality is not the place to go when working with skincare.  You don't have to spend more than $15 or so when choosing a mineral powder, but choosing cheaper powders can put your skin at risk of clogged pores, oil, and other unpleasantness that you are trying to get rid of to begin with.  It can make it worse.

Mineral powder's main ingredients are Titanium and Zinc Oxide, which are both natural products that come from the Earth!  These products don't breed bacteria or produce unnecessary skin oils.  They make your skin oil-free as long as these products kiss your skin!  Zinc and Titanium Oxide have sunblock qualities so you will not need to apply an additional sunblock underneath your powder.  In addition to the sunblock qualities mineral powders possesses, it also serves as an anti-inflammatory product, which is excellent for acne and inflamed skin.  Your acne lesions actually heal faster with the protection of mineral powder fighting against the elements for you.

Very few people are allergic to this compound and with continued wear on a daily basis, your skin condition can actually improve while its being protected from the elements under your mineral powder.  Mineral powder is free of dyes, perfumes, wax, silicone, oils, talc, and other ingredients that harm instead of heal.

Another wonderful product is multicolored skin perfecting palates.  If you have acne-prone, red skin, a green blend of powders will help conceal your red and/or inflamed skin.  Simply brush it over your problem areas underneath your regular mineral powder that matches the color of your skin!  You can wear it alone, but its better in a blend that matches your skin-tone.  Yellow powders take care of dark under-eye circles, moles, freckles, and age-spots.  They bring down the darkness of areas of your face if you want your skin to appear even-toned.  Pink powder brightens the skin and gives it a healthy, youthful glow.

My favorite compact in my make-up bag is my three-toned skin perfecting mineral powder palette.  Its a blend of yellow, pink, and green tones that subtly remove all the imperfections from my skin all at once.  If my skin is really broken out, I use the green, but the three-blend combo palette is great from every day use!  It kills three birds with one stone!

You can purchase mineral powder bronzers in the summer to give your cheeks a sun-kissed appearance, while actually protecting it from the sun!  I suggest switching shades in the summer as most of our skin has at least some type of tanned appearance, even if its small.  Our skin is a different color in summer than it is in winter.

I use mineral powder and will never go back to using the old talc-based powders. Nice write-up!
