Natural means "existing in or formed by nature; having undergone little or no processing and containing no chemical additives." Unfortunately, there are no regulations currently in place regarding the use of the word "natural" in cosmetics, so any companies using any ingredients and manufacturing processes can claim that their products are "natural.'

According to a review ( Sheer Cover Mineral Makeup Review) from 'Natural Living for women':

Ingredients list for Sheer Cover from website:

* Dermatologist Francesca Fusco, MD says that despite a few clever slogans that suggest they are so light you can “sleep with the makeup on”, you should wash your face before bedtime.

I didn't find any complaints about Sheer mineral make-up at 'Skin Deep' which informs us about the harmful products or their ingredients covering cosmetics or personal products.

Great advice. I do use sheer cover powder for eyes and face, along with one from Avon (which was much cheeper and I like it better) I also have Loreal mineral makeup. I am disappointed after reading your review, I trusted what they said. I must add that I have not had any problems with skin irritation and I do like the feel of the powders rather than a liquid foundation, I have been using it for around 4 years, so I think I will stick with it but next time I buy one I will check with your links.

Lisa! I was also shocked after finding the hard facts behind the cosmetic and personal use products industry. But the safe way is to search online about the products which we need to use frequently and select the stuff with less harmful side effects.

well researched well done
